A "Grand old man" of Freemasonry, W. Bro, Arthur George Duck of Ilford, has died after a long illness, at the age of 79.
W. Bro. Duck had been a Mason for 57 years, having joined the Temperance in the East Lodge, No.898 in 1884. He was W.M. in 1892 and Grand Lodge Officer for 1910-11.

In Business life W.Bro. Duck was a hosier for many years in Ilford and Poplar, trading as A.G.Horsey he retired some time ago.
The funeral took place recently at the City Of London Cemetery, Manor Park
